1- Feeding A Newborn Puppy or Kitten
You will need to provide a commercial canine or feline milk replacer that has been specifically designed for newborn puppies and kittens every few hours in the first weeks. After about a month, you can start transitioning them to solid foods by adding water and milk replacer.
You can also make your own homemade milk replacer, he's a recipe:
- Combine 3 ounces of condensed milk, 3 ounces of water, 4 ounces of plain full-fat yogurt and 3 large egg yolks. Mix well. Do not include the egg whites, and do not substitute cow's or goat's milk. Only make enough formula for a single day's worth of feeding and refrigerate it until you use it.
6-9 weeks – 4 meals per day
3-6 months – 3 meals per day
From 6 month till the rest of his life – 2 meals per day.

3- Shopping For Quality Food
Your
puppy or kitten's body is growing in critical ways which is why you'll
need to select a food that's formulated especially for puppies or
kittens as opposed to adult dogs or cats.
4- Making Them Feel Less Lonely
Your puppy or kitten can feel a little lonely, so you can put next to where they sleep a clock that makes noise to imitate their moms heart beet.
5- Finding A Good Vet
You will need to make sure that your puppy or kitten is with good health, to do it you can ask the vet volunteers that will be helping us.
6- Keeping Them Warm
Newborn
puppies and kittens can easily die of hypothermia so you have to keep
them warm. Blankets can help, as can heating pads, but take care that you don't use something that is too warm.
7- Being Sociable
Proper socialization during puppy/kittenhold helps avoid behavioral problems down the road.
8- Helping a new puppy go to the bathroom
Mother dogs have to help them to urinate and defecate by licking the appropriate areas after the puppies eat so you’ll need to do this by massaging their urinary and anal regions with a soft cloth that has been dipped in warm water.
